Among other testing techniques, thermographic inspection proved to be a popular choice in recent years. Mainly due to technological advancements in both drone operations and infrared sensors. Implementing drones scans and analysis by a professional operator will reduce O&M costs and maintain high plant revenue.
Besides annual linear degradation of Approx.0.5-0.7% and limited initial degradation (LID) of 3-4% solar cells and modules do occasionally suffer other failure modes due to manufacturing, shipping, or installation processes. In the early stages, defects will lower power production while severe failures are not only a production issue but may result in hazards to equipment or the employees.
Knowledge and in-depth understanding only acquired through experience anddiligence
To collect and interpret the data you will need a well-trained team. But that is not all!
organizing, visualizing, and representing the data is a key process toward making conclusions.
As we are a PV-oriented company (in contrast to software or drones companies only), you can trust us. Knowing not only can we manage all the above-mentioned; but to finalize failure’s root cause, we offer an advanced tool set, ready to investigate deeper and mount a warranty or insurance claim (if findings support) that would stand scrutiny. Our advanced services include:
Electroluminescence imaging – Micro-cracks / shunt resistance –
I-V Curve – precise module electrical measurements (STC) –
A thermal scan of system electrical cabinets and components –
Riso – Module resistance insolation –
UVF – Ultraviolet fluorescence imaging –
And more –
How we differ from other solutions out there
– Our interactive, user-friendly, web-based managing platform, is a unique solution. No subscription, no software integration, no updating. It is all done for you. Don’t waste time, money, or energy, training employees. Don’t scratch your head interpreting results. it’s all there with one click. On top of that, it is fully customizable for your needs. From colors, you wish to function what you need.
– 10 years of experience and a proven record in the solar industry, A sound customer portfolio, and advanced tool arsenal and technics allow us to offer a cost effective service. All in-house, a one-stop shop, while not compromising one bit of data quality.
– Data collection: Existing solutions constrain data collection and analysis to a single infrared Ortho-mosaic (orthophoto). In addition, we scan each table or row in video format and obtain a close-up (low Hight) radiometric image of each indication for further software analysis later. It’s not about wasting time; a video scan is used to exclude reflections and other variables visible in the orthophoto and may be mistaken with faults. The radiometric analysis offers precise temperature measurements dictating fault severity.
